Will Obama count on small firms to create jobs?
President Obama is considering to give incentives to small businesses for hiring more people. But question is that they are having will, capacity or they having enough ability to do that?
According to analysts President’s economic speech will promote the job creating ideas.
Obama is expected to emphasize on job creating ideas as:
· Giving people cash incentives for fixing up their homes with energy saving materials.
· Giving incentives to small business that hire new workers.
· Spending more on roads, bridges and other public works.
· Giving federal money to state and local governments to keep them from laying off public employees.
On Dec 3 President Obama told that he believe that government has a critical role in creating the conditions for economic growth, ultimately true economic recovery is only going to come from the private sector. He added that they are not having enough public dollars to fill the hole of private dollars that was created as a consequence of the crisis.
Numerous people consider that small businesses are the key to job creation in current recession that is still shedding jobs.
Statistic shows that small businesses could solve unemployment. United States is having 6 million small businesses that have employees and almost 22 million one-person firms.
According to these statistics if every small employer just add a one more job and even half those nonemployers added a job, then 16 million unemployed will vanish. But there is a problem with statistics that they count the real world but don’t exist there, like the mismatch between the work that may need to be done and the skills of folks on the unemployment line.
About this matter small businesses expert says that small businesses will be having problem to drive new job creations as they have in the past, but right now they are unable to secure credit from the banks. More helping for them can be the incentives or regulations compelling banks to lend more money to small businesses.
The largest advocacy group for small businesses, The National Federation of Independent Business says that access to capital is way down the list of problems for business owners in its monthly surveys.
NFIB says that until the sales wont increase the owners wont gain the confidence to create more jobs.
Carl Schramm , president of the Kauffman Foundations says that its not all that small businesses that create jobs, the foundation report shows from 1980 through 2005 nearly all the net job creation in the United States came from firms less than 5 years old. Based on that Schramm recommends:
· A special visa creation for the immigrants who start new businesses in the U.S. and keep the jobs here.
· Giving young companies a payroll holiday so that can hire more people.
· Providing clearness about taxes and future regulations to refrain unintended and harmful consequences to entrepreneurs.
· Creating fellowships for recent PhDs to start businesses that commercialize their academic research.
· Exempt some businesses from the Sarbanes-Oxley requirements so they will public more quickly.

Because they are the invaluable resource for you when you are looking for a job. You can learn a lot from their success, mistakes, experience, tips and tricks that will help you a lot on long way job search.
I had talked to few successful job seekers and here I am writing the tips that I gained from them. I divided those tips in 4 categories, which are these:
Present yourself as you are
First person to whom I met for his job seeking experience is my friend Samuel. He got the job as financial analyst within two weeks.
He says that he made his mind to have any type of job and posted his resumes everywhere and visited every agency whether there was any job opening or not. He applied in so many companies so that the possibility of being hired gets more.
According to him one should have to be open minded about the kinds of positions that they want. Aside from going to a one specific job one should try to go to a company, an employment agency and tell them what you knows and what you are having in your qualifications because what you having can be applied to a number of different positions which only employment agency or company knows. And when time is right you will get the job. But for that you should have to be open-minded.
Never Let Opportunity Get Away
Anna was unemployed for more than 3 years but she is having a job as a management consultant in a big firm.
She says that because of long time unemployment I made up my mind to get any low level job. So through a friend she got a contract position job. She told me that job was according to her qualification and also not ideal job for her. But she kept on sticking with that job. Anna said that when you are unemployed for a long time you have to adjust with such type of jobs and in this job I worked hard.
Her hard work and better attitude in this contract job paid her with a permanent job according to her qualification and also a better salary.
For Some Cover Letter is Luckier Than Resume
After graduating from a law school Henry wanted to get a job quickly. He drafted a cover letter that emphasized his unique experience and made stand out as a candidate.
Henry says that he was having a standard entry-level lawyer resume which he have to use but he used cover letter for giving more details about him.
In that letter he mentioned that he had worked on a political campaign in San Diego and his current boss is running for office in Anchorage. According to him that was a lucky move, which paid to him.
Currently Henry is working as attorney in Florida and he credits his cover letter for finding a job.
Professional Network Can Be a Strong Back
Rachel was not even seeking job actively when she was appointed as creative director of an advertising agency. She credits her new job to her solid professional network.
She left her more recent job but she stayed in touch with her boss. Rachel says that she will visit whenever she came back to West Coast and will dinner with her when her boss came to New York.
She also built a strong network in and around the New York City. She told that her previous colleague from a local agency called me and told me about the opening and I sent my resume in. She talked me up to her bosses and they reviewed my resume and I was given that job because they knew my previous employer. She says that two strong references my former colleague and former boss worked for me while so many people were interviewed for that job.
Bottom Line
Above mentioned small tips were of those people who got the jobs. But whatever worked for them is not necessary will work for you also. You should have to look your nearby to consult with such people who got the good jobs and try to gain tips and experience from them as well to know that what things worked for them to get those jobs.

Finding a new job is a very hectic task. Once you accomplish this task you feel very relaxed and stress free. It certainly feels like all your dreams have suddenly come true. You start assuming that your responsibilities towards your current job have ended.

This assumption of yours is however wrong because its important for an individual to resign from the job on a good note rather than on a bad one. Therefore, before resigning from your present job you should feel responsible to complete the duties that have been already assigned to you.
After you have completed all your due assignments, you then prepare your resignation letter. But before this you also need to ensure that you have signed a formal agreement regarding the job start date with your new boss. Otherwise you will not only be insulted in your own eyes but also incur the risk of losing your current job.
