A Tricky Question–“Tell Me About Yourself?”
During an interview, just to warm you up and make you feel comfortable, the interviewer may ask a question “Tell about yourself?” This question seems like very harmless but at the same time, this is the question which can be the deciding point either you should be selected or not.
Mostly people, when they are asked this question during an interview, start sharing the personal information. And here they goes. The employer does not mean to ask about your social security number or place of birth. He might be referring to you, your family and other such related things. Now if you really select to answer the question in this pattern, you are going to lose the chance of getting that particular job, because your answer is absolutely incorrect.

If you are going to give an interview then don’t confuse and be confident. You have to be determined about the goals you have set in your life to achieve regardless of the tough economical conditions. According to new book authors, I Hate People! Kick Loose from the Overbearing and Underhanded Jerks at Work and Get What you Want out of Your Job, in easy and simple terms it tells that: You don’t want to be hated but be liked. Here are ten easy and best ways to be impressive in your interview and to get the job you want to have:

1: avoid being Smiley Face:
If you keep an unwanted smile on your face during your interview then it would make an impression of nervousness and lack of confidence. Smiley face shows an insincerity and fakeness that your interviewer would judge immediately. You should be thoughtful and try to be pleasant throughout your interview that would be appreciated. Don’t smile without any reason and only smile if it is required and if you find to smile on. You can practice in front of your friend and mirror.
2: Avoid un-necessary subjects:
Knowledge about your favorite TV show and other thing that is unnecessary and useless in interview because only serious talks and things can lead you to get that job. How to Answer 5 Common Interview Questions
Every one who has ever given an interview knows the common interview questions that people ask you about you. These questions appear innocent, but in reality they are potential job killers. To answer these common interview questions right is very important.
As an experienced headhunter I will share with you the best ways to answer those questions so you can get the edge on other applicants. I will provide you the ultimate secrets to crushing these questions. Here is how I think you should answer five of the most common interview questions about yourself.

Tell me about yourself.
This is a tricky question for a lot of people. You don’t want to sound egotistical, but you have to sell yourself. It’s best to prepare a short statement in advance covering you’re accomplishments and future goals. Then, memorize and rehearse your statement out loud either in front of a mirror or video camera. It’s also a good idea to practice on a friend or spouse and get their feedback.
Why did you leave or want to leave your current job?
The secret to this common interview question is to stay positive and be honest. No matter how much you’re tempted, don’t say anything negative about previous employers. If you were let go from your last job, don’t lie. When they do a reference check they’re likely to find out. It’s better they hear it from you up front. When they ask what happened, tell your story in the best possible way for yourself as you can, and no matter what, stay positive about your previous employer.
