Points To Consider While Writing Salary Requirement Letter
While seeking a new employment, generally the expected employees are asked to submit a salary requirement letter. This is a tricky matter and your selection for the job greatly depends on that. If you would ask for too much or too low salary, it might prove to be enough reason for the employer to let you go without giving you the job.
Important points in your salary requirement letter:
Besides your demands for the salary, it is also asked to mention the previous salaries that you have been withdrawing from your previous jobs. Though it is not a good idea to asses your skills and capabilities on the past experience, but since the employers think this way, you need to prepare a letter accordingly.

Effective Way To Send Your Resume
The first crucial step in finding a dynamic job is to have an effective and attractive resume. Unluckily, mostly people don’t know give importance to prepare an attractive resume that can catch attention. In the today’s competitive environment, where you have a competition with a great number of other resumes or applicants, you must know the effective way to distribute your resume only if you want to make some difference.

First of all you must have to be organized and prepare an organized plan while going to give an interview. Prepare a paper work that contains the company’s name, the advertised position, the date you sent your resume. Your next step should be the posting of your resume on the different jobs. But it is to be noted that these job boards are not the most working way to get a suitable job because most of them are having only less than 3% of the effectiveness rate. However, you should use them. Use large job boards to put your resume and always use those job boards that match to your profession because many employers just focus on their search.

What Not to Say in the Interview
An interview plays a vital role in deciding whether you will be able to get your dream job or not. However, there are a few statements that can make your interview go wrong.
Therefore, you should avoid mentioning them during your job interview. Some of the statements are as follows:
1. Negative remarks about your present or past employers, boss and co-workers.
You will not benefit from discussing about negative things about your present or past co-workers. Interviewer might interpret that the employee might be a "management problem."
2. Appeal for special hours or equipment unless you have a handicap that necessitates special accommodations.
It’s wrong to request for a special treatment from the employer during your first interview because you are still not hired for the job. You can only think of asking for such special treatment once you’re hired for the job. Read the rest of this entry

Tips From Successful Job Seekers
Most of job seekers are looking for the ways, that how to get their resume noticed by the employers, and also for answers for the difficult interview questions. So much is written about that also like “ 10 most difficult interview questions”, “ writing a best resume” etc. But as I had seen and experienced tips from successful job seekers are best.
Those tips you can get anywhere near by like from your neighbor, best friend, cousin or any relative who got the job. They will tell you and advice you in best manner that how they got the jobs. Because they are the invaluable resource for you when you are looking for a job. You can learn a lot from their success, mistakes, experience, tips and tricks that will help you a lot on long way job search.
I had talked to few successful job seekers and here I am writing the tips that I gained from them. I divided those tips in 4 categories, which are these:
Present yourself as you are
First person to whom I met for his job seeking experience is my friend Samuel. He got the job as financial analyst within two weeks.
He says that he made his mind to have any type of job and posted his resumes everywhere and visited every agency whether there was any job opening or not. He applied in so many companies so that the possibility of being hired gets more.
According to him one should have to be open minded about the kinds of positions that they want. Aside from going to a one specific job one should try to go to a company, an employment agency and tell them what you knows and what you are having in your qualifications because what you having can be applied to a number of different positions which only employment agency or company knows. And when time is right you will get the job. But for that you should have to be open-minded.
Never Let Opportunity Get Away
Anna was unemployed for more than 3 years but she is having a job as a management consultant in a big firm.
She says that because of long time unemployment I made up my mind to get any low level job. So through a friend she got a contract position job. She told me that job was according to her qualification and also not ideal job for her. But she kept on sticking with that job. Anna said that when you are unemployed for a long time you have to adjust with such type of jobs and in this job I worked hard.
Her hard work and better attitude in this contract job paid her with a permanent job according to her qualification and also a better salary.
For Some Cover Letter is Luckier Than Resume
After graduating from a law school Henry wanted to get a job quickly. He drafted a cover letter that emphasized his unique experience and made stand out as a candidate.
Henry says that he was having a standard entry-level lawyer resume which he have to use but he used cover letter for giving more details about him.
In that letter he mentioned that he had worked on a political campaign in San Diego and his current boss is running for office in Anchorage. According to him that was a lucky move, which paid to him.
Currently Henry is working as attorney in Florida and he credits his cover letter for finding a job.
Professional Network Can Be a Strong Back
Rachel was not even seeking job actively when she was appointed as creative director of an advertising agency. She credits her new job to her solid professional network.
She left her more recent job but she stayed in touch with her boss. Rachel says that she will visit whenever she came back to West Coast and will dinner with her when her boss came to New York.
She also built a strong network in and around the New York City. She told that her previous colleague from a local agency called me and told me about the opening and I sent my resume in. She talked me up to her bosses and they reviewed my resume and I was given that job because they knew my previous employer. She says that two strong references my former colleague and former boss worked for me while so many people were interviewed for that job.
Bottom Line
Above mentioned small tips were of those people who got the jobs. But whatever worked for them is not necessary will work for you also. You should have to look your nearby to consult with such people who got the good jobs and try to gain tips and experience from them as well to know that what things worked for them to get those jobs.
