Due to the recent economic crisis, most people are always at threat of being unemployed anytime. The conditions for jobs are no longer good, one day you are working and the very next day, you may be unemployed, with panic taking over you.

In order to reduce the panic and anxiety, here is a list of ten tips, which surely will help you.

1- Apply for Unemployment Insurance

They first and foremost thing you should do, after getting fired or losing job because of downsizing, is to go to your local unemployment office and apply. There you might be able to get unemployment compensation for months.

But if you quit your job then it will be hard for you to get any benefit. However, they might help you to write a resume and find a new job.

2 – Estimate the value of your finances

Make sure that after losing your job, you still have enough money for paying rent and buying food until you get any other job. Cut down you extra expenses because you don’t know when you will get a paycheck again. So start using your money carefully.

Look for any part time job before you get a full time job of your choice.
