While seeking a new employment, generally the expected employees are asked to submit a salary requirement letter. This is a tricky matter and your selection for the job greatly depends on that. If you would ask for too much or too low salary, it might prove to be enough reason for the employer to let you go without giving you the job.Salary Requirement Letter

The job market is so much competitive, for one job opening there will be so many applications. Its becoming necessary that one should know which occupation is the fastest growing occupation and one should stick to that for having a better job.

United States Department of Labor had done some projecting about employment. According to their studies here are the six fastest growing occupations.

1- IT – Professional

A network system and data communication analyst execute a number of tasks relating to data communication systems such as internet, also designing, analyzing, testing and checking systems and the manner of their functioning. They have to supervise computer programmers working as specialist who have to handle the interfacing of computers and communications equipment.

The data of U.S. Labor department shows that this is fastest growing occupation and leading other occupations in percentage of jobs. That’s because of large use of computers and information technology. From 2006 to 2009 it got rise from 262,000 employees to 402,000 and its expected that till 2016 it will rise 53.4% that will create almost 140,000 new jobs in United States.

Most of jobs related to this requires bachelor’s degree, some of them might need 2 years degree in computer sciences or in information technology related field.

2 – Dentist

A dentist’s job is to look the teeth and gums problem of the patients, providing them dental care and giving them tips how to keep their teeth healthy.

Till 2016 a total of 217,000 dental hygienists will be employed can increase focus on preventive dental care has contributed to a demand for these workers.

Requirement for this Job is an associate’s degree or certificate in dental hygiene.

3 – Computer Software Engineers

Computer Software Engineers depends on their knowledge about computer science and mathematical analysis for developing, designing, testing and evaluating the software and systems that operates the computers. Software engineer’s tasks change quickly with the rapid changes in world of technology. Computer games, word processing, and operating systems are among their areas to which a software engineer deals.

According to statistics 44.6 percent increase in jobs from 2006 to 2016 puts it near the top of the growth scale. This high growth is because of the technology companies, which are always looking to introduce new software in the market.

For this job applicant must be holding a bachelor’s degree in software engineering and some work experience will be the plus point.

4 – Physical Therapist

The job of a physical therapist is to treat the victims of accidents or to disable people. A physio’s job is to increase the patient’s mobility, relieving pain, preventing and alleviating physical disabilities. For that they prepare physical therapy which includes different exercises also, they keep the record of patient’s response to the therapy.

This job is having faster growth because of rise in the demand of physical therapy. Till 2006 60,000 physical therapists were employed and its expected that it will go to 80,000 till 2016.

For this job an associate’s degree from an accredited physical therapist assistants program is needed.

5 – Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst analyzes and studies the investment strategies and on the base of that they gives a helpful advise to companies or to individuals for betterment of their businesses. They generally focus on a specific industry, region or type of a product and they assess the client’s assets, cash flow, insurance coverage, tax status, and financial objectives to make solid money strategies.

This job is rapidly growing with percentage of 38.8.

This job needs high qualifications plus a lot of knowledge about the different businesses and market. A qualification like MBA is suitable for this job.

6 – Substance abuse and behavioral disorder counselors

Counseling and advising the people who are having the problems regarding alcohol, tobacco, drugs, gambling and eating disorders.

Need for this job is increased due to of rising number of people who are suffering from depression and other serious mood disorders. This job got increase of 34.3 percent in last 10 years.

For this job a master’s degree with a required licensed as a counselor, some states accept a bachelor’s degree also for this job.
