How To Cope With A Bad Day At Work?
There are some days when you feel the whole universe is working against you. We all have our ups and down in life, here are some tips to help you cope with a bad day at work.

1. Accept Your Bad Mood
Being in a bad mood is not really that bad! However, trying to force yourself to cheer up is much, much worse. You will always prolong your bad mood if you try to fight it, so if you’re mad or sad, be mad or sad. This does not mean that you have to be rude and unpleasant to your coworkers, it just means you need to recognize and accept your mood in order to be able to do something about it.
2. Tell Others
Don’t think no one will notice when you have a bad mood, rather they will wonder if they ticked you off. So, its better to tell them that you are not having a good day. Simply say, "Listen, I’m in a really bad mood today. I’m not sure why, but it’s nothing you’ve done. If I do bite your head off, I’m apologizing in advance."
3. Look Inside First
Most of the time, we tend to think that something or someone else always causes a bad mood, but it is a fact that bad moods aren’t always related to the obvious, external factors. Perhaps you just slept poorly, are getting the flu, or are just having a bad day. Don’t try to blame others, instead, try to look inside yourself first.
4. Remember the Good Stuff
When you’re having a bad day, everything seems bad. Remember, the good things you had yesterday, when you weren’t as annoyed, are still there, you just forgot them. Take some time to remember them, and be thankful for them.
5. Spend Some Quite Time
To avoid doing or saying something bad you might regret later, try to spend some time alone if you can. Walk during your lunch break, sit and work someplace quiet, or take a long bathroom break.
6. Start Your Day Over
Don’t wait till tomorrow to start your day over. Do it right away. Leave your desk, and try to start over, as if you slept. Return to work with a fresh attitude. This really works, more so with practice.
7. Leverage Your Next Good Mood
Once the bad mood is finally over, and you feel better, find out what helped. Was it a thought? a song? a friend? an event? Whatever it is, use it to help you clear out the next time you have a bad day.
